Boston Celtics vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Analysis and Prediction In NBA Playoffs Game 4, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Boston Celtics.

In the second game vs the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers created a break but were unable to take advantage of it. Two days later, they suffered a defeat in front of their home crowd by a score of 93:106, falling down (1-2) in this best-of-seven series.

The Cavaliers' destiny in Game 3 was largely dictated by their offensive imbalance. Even though they were too dependent on three-point shooting, they were still able to take the lead in Game 2 thanks to simple baskets around the hoop. Even though Donovan Mitchell led his side to victory at the TD Garden with 33 points, it seemed as though he was able to better oversee the offense. The Celtics scored many easy transition points in the opening quarter of the game because to the Cavaliers' slow start, which only gave the opposition more confidence. If Darius Garland's squad is to remain "alive" for an extended period of time, he will have to contribute far more.

The Boston Celtics performed just like they did in the Eastern Conference first-round matchup, winning by big digits on the road right after suffering a setback to the Miami Heat. With a 2-1 advantage, they will need to win again in Ohio in order to avoid putting too much effort into this series.

Most notable change from the first two games of this series may be attributed to Jayson Tatum's aggression. With 33 points and 13 rebounds, he was clearly focused on keeping this series against the Cavaliers as simple as possible. Such a Tatum is essential for head coach Joe Mazzulla to succeed, as he led the club like a veteran. Jrue Holiday had a few standout plays to start the second quarter, while Jaylen Brown shot an incredible 13/17. Because they are presently dependent only on Al Horford, the Celtics' weakest point is their lack of physical power in the paint. It is not good news when your mainstay is a 37-year-old, even if it is Horford.

In comparison to Game 3, the Cleveland Cavaliers will undoubtedly make some changes. We think they'll use Evan Mobley beneath the basket a lot more, which will allow them to play longer. The fact that Donovan Mitchell is performing admirably suggests that the hosts can at least stave from losing to their supporters by a double-digit margin for the second straight game.
