Slavia Prague has been quite active on the continent this season, having only narrowly missed the Czech title the previous time around. In other developments, Roma staged a dramatic comeback against Lecce in Serie A last Sunday, with Sardar Azmoun and Romelu Lukaku scoring stoppage-time goals to secure a 2-1 victory. This came after a narrow 1-0 loss to Inter Milan on October 29, which put an end to their five-game winning streak in all competitions.
While Roma is eager to build on their recent success, they have encountered difficulties when playing away from home, managing only two wins in six games this season.
Jose Mourinho's team has entered Europe's secondary competition this season with the ambition of making a deep run, and they've certainly had a strong start in the group stage.
